Campaign adaptation · 14 host cities
FIFA World Cup Fan Fest 2026
Adapting the FIFA Fan Festival identity across languages, cities and a large volume of event communications.
The scope
I worked on a project involving more than 1,000 deliverables across 14 host cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The work covered multiple languages and a wide range of digital and printed formats.
My contribution
I adapted the supplied artwork and templates into different aspect ratios, updating city names, artist information, schedules and other event details. The deliverables included artist announcements, ticket availability posts, food and drink information, printed stickers and signage, as well as live adaptations while the festivals were taking place.
Working within the templates
Each adaptation had to follow strict design-template rules while accommodating different languages, content and dimensions. Keeping the visual identity consistent across the local versions was an essential part of the work.
Coordinating the workload
We used Google Sheets as a source for the information going into the designs and Google Slides presentations with more than 500 pages to collect feedback. The volume of work meant keeping files, naming and revisions organised while managing ongoing updates.
The 14 locations
Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Mexico City (CDMX), Dallas (DAL), Guadalajara (GDL), Houston (HOU), Kansas City (KCK), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), Monterrey (MTY), New York New Jersey (NYNJ), Philadelphia (PHL), Toronto (TOR) and Vancouver (VAN).
Selected work
The gallery brings together 45 selected designs from all 14 locations, including social posts, banners, outdoor layouts and wayfinding stickers. Some are template examples with placeholder content, showing how the system was adapted across cities and formats.
